Is Sora Amiibo Coming Soon?

Smash has amiibo data for every character except Sora. This has cued a pile of horseshit clickbait from amiibo news outlets looking to cash in on the fear that Sora won’t get an amiibo. I put my cajones in the kitchen sink last summer and released a video boldly claiming that Sora will be released, but not until 2024. It’s just a lot more logical to conclude that Sora will eventually happen.

I was just notified of this tweet:

I’ve never done business with ArtSwift, but they’ve shown in the past that they have access to restocks and pre-orders from all three amiibo manufacturing markets (EU, North America, Asia) before anyone else. It’s been speculated that ArtSwift has insiders showing them favor, and that could certainly be the case here.

Hold your breath and see. I honestly have no idea how credible this is beyond what I’ve just said.

Edit: It appears these people correctly announced the Fire Emblem amiibo restock for the EU market before the amiibo had been announced. This is oddly specific info to have ahead of time, and it suggests they might be a credible source. Seriously, though, don’t jump to a conclusion yet.
