Several months ago I put out a Youtube short making predictions for the amiibo that I thought would be coming this year. Scratch another one off that list, because it’s been confirmed this morning that more Splatoon 3 amiibo are on their way!
This is precisely what I expect from Switch-era Nintendo: producing amiibo only for games that have established fanbases so as to ensure they sell well. It’s a sound strategy, and makes it easy to predict future amiibo as well.
