The Switch is obviously this generation’s dump-your-old-games-and-get-money console, and it’s clearly working out well for game developers. Everyone from Nintendo to Bethesda to whoever developed Bayonetta has been polishing their old mid-2010s trophies and sticking them on the Switch shelf.
Crows Crows Crows, the developer behind The Stanley Parable, is no different. They’ve taken what is truly a gem of a game and announced that The Stanley Parable is receiving a polish-up and coming to the Switch.
I can’t really tell you anything about this game without spoiling it, so you’ll just have to trust me. When Stanley Parable comes out on April 27th, buy it. It’s been eight years since I last played it, and I still remember the jokes and laugh to myself. But beware: by the sound of it, the devs have taken a twist on the original Stanley Parable, so you may want to buy the original on Steam before picking up this one.
