The other day I was asked if the “Amazon pre-order was legit”. I, not having any information about pre- orders, assumed it wasn’t. Lo and behold, I was right – there’s no pre-orders for the amiibo active right now… but suddenly a lot of stores have started listing that they’ll have them available in the online store, even though they don’t have them available for pre-order yet.
Hopefully this means that Pyra and Mythra will be adequately stocked. Nintendo seems to be putting more effort into properly supplying Smash Bros amiibo (many stores around me still have Steve 2-packs left over, and he was one of the most popular amiibo at launch) so the scalpers may be very disappointed this go-round.
