Today was the release of the 6.0 update, and with it came a few points of note!
First, Incineroar and Simon Belmont amiibo functionality has been added into the game. If you manage to synthesize a bin file of them, you’ll be able to scan it in and it will function properly. While I don’t recommend using them online and running the risk of alerting Nintendo to your hackery, I can’t say for certain that it’ll do any harm. I managed to get a hold of Pichu prior to his release, and I even posted replays of him online without any difficulty.
In other news, we have a release date for Dark Samus and Richter Belmont! They’re coming out January 17th, which is much earlier than I was expecting. I think it’s fair to say that we’ll have our last DLC Fighter Pack character around that time as well.
