All Amiibo Bin Files (Tagmo, Amiiboss, Ally, All Platforms) – 2024

Amiibo Doctor is not hosting these files. It is unknown who compiled these bin files – the host was sent to us by a reader and we are periodically informed on its goings-on through Reddit. Amiibo Doctor does not and cannot verify the original ownership of bin files. This page is simply a directory to the current most updated listing of amiibo bin file compilations that has been sent in by a reader.

We receive a cut from Amazon links on this page.

What are amiibo bin files?

Amiibo bin files are, to put it simply, the files that exist in every amiibo figure, chip and amiibo card out there. Amiibo bin files are like an RFID chip that scans the same as an amiibo- you can put it into an amiibo figure, into an amiibo card or into a Powersaves for amiibo, and it’ll function as an original amiibo in each of those formats because it’s just an “NTAG215” chip with your amiibo’s data on it.

Please be advised that you should try to purchase official amiibo products before considering downloading amiibo bin files. Supporting amiibo products keeps amiibo going!

Amiibo Bin Files Host Download for Emuiibo Specifically

Don’t use the above link if you intend to use Emuiibo, as those are bin files that don’t work with Emuiibo. I’m told this bin file repository uses bin files converted for use in emuiibo. As with the above set, we don’t know who hosts the files, and we would have no way to know they were removed unless a user told us.

If you have questions on Emuiibo, please direct them elsewhere. I have no idea how it works.

How do I make and use amiibo bin file backups?

Most people find this video tutorial to be effective for their platform. Please be advised that further consultation with the Amiibo Doctor guides may be necessary.

What are the Locked-Secret and Unfixed-Info bin files?

These two files are the tools to unlocking the amiibo. When combined, they activate a program that activate your amiibo – separately, they can’t do anything. You need these for use in Tagmo, but some lesser-known programs might need them as well.

You’ll often also see a “key-retail” bin file. This file is a combined version of the locked-secret and unfixed-info files, but it’s not a substitute for them. Sometimes an app needs key-retail, and sometimes it needs the other two. It’s convenient to keep both on hand.

How can I make amiibo cards with amiibo bin files?

Good question – the specific process depends on the methods available to you. However, there’s a few universal steps regardless of how you choose to make amiibo cards.

You’ll need:

  • NTAG215 chips that haven’t been written to
  • The specific method you’re going to use to write amiibo cards (almost always a cell phone with NFC)
  • Amiibo bin files

The steps are pretty straightforward.

  1. Open the app and hold up the unwritten NTAG chip to the NFC point on your phone.
  2. Select “Write Tag” or similarly-named option on your app
  3. Wait for the phone to write to the NTAG chip
  4. Scan the chip into your Switch to confirm you wrote the correct amiibo file

That’s pretty much it! There’s a few other uses for amiibo as well, like using them so get villagers in New Horizons or extra equipment in Splatoon, so check amiibo.life to see what they can do!

Where can I get NTAG215 chips for amiibo cards?

We recommend a few specific Amazon sellers for NTAG215 chips. Bear in mind that, while these will all produce amiibo with the same function, the format will make it a bit more or less convenient to use depending on how you intend to use the amiibo. The format determines whether you make an amiibo cardstock (with cardstock), an amiibo coin (with an NTAG disc) or an amiibo sticker (also with an amiibo sticker).

You can buy NTAG chips from a lot of websites, but places like AliExpress charge around the same rates and the shipping takes much, much longer. AliExpress is only good for when you need to buy, say, a hundred thousand chips. And if you need to buy a hundred thousand NTAG215 chips… I don’t wanna know why.

  1. Hello, I’m having problems with my N2 Elite Manager. I’m connected to the internet on my PC and showed the app my tags and banks for Captain Falcon, Pikachu, Lucus etc but they’re all not showing; just saying “Loading, no connection”. Is there a way to fix this?

  2. Hi there, i’m using the Android Software for the N2 Elite and it still works! The Problem with “Manage Banks” is, that no pictures are shown and the text “No connection” appears. I guess that the pictures and fileinfos are loaded from an internet database, which is offline now (debug the .apk to proof). Some Parts of the context menu are still working like “Delete”. So u can still upload an delete, but you have remember which slot is filled with an .bin file.

    1. See, this is a problem that I’ve had in the past as well. Unfortunately without other amiibo hardware (i.e. a Powersaves) your only option is to find another bin dump. There’s two valid file sizes for amiibo -532 bytes and 540 bytes. If Amiiboss isn’t taking one, try a dump of the other.

I’m fairly sure that we have a separate dump for the Series 5 bin files on that page, so you might meander over there and see if they’re a different size.

    1. You have to put the bin files on your apple cloud storage and then in ally, hold down on the + button until the options appear and select “import file” or whatever it says regarding import. Then go to where you put the files on your apple drive.
